African Women Scholarships Stage high pressure turbine rotor of a gas turbine is one of the most sophisticated system of mechanical engineering in modern aircraft. Knives must operate for thousands of hours and experience that exceed the gas temperature and spun at 12,000 1600oC rpm produces centrifugal stresses that produce blade root load of about 18tonnes. This African Women Scholarships project will research new technologies for use in future machines.
Working with engineers at Oxford and Rolls-Royce, students will determine the operating conditions of the turbine blade in the future of large civil engines; candidates cooling technology review and propose new systems that are suitable for turbine blades, turbine cooling system design and produce computer models; design and conduct experiments, analyze the data.

African Women Scholarship in MSc Economics and Related Research


MSc African Women Scholarship Economics for Business Analysis (EBA) is an Economics graduate award strictly in applied economics with a focus on business. The module covers the core of any master's degree in economics: microeconomics (semester 1 and 2); macroeconomic (Semester 1), and econometrics (semester 1 and 2). Business emphasis of this award is further reflected in personnel economics (Semester 2) and in the field of business finance and accounting (semester 1 and 2). This award is equipped with individually supervised dissertation in which knowledge and skills acquired in the award applied to empirical investigation and / or substantial policy-oriented. (A number of these have won international awards and / or have been published in scientific journals.) The MSc African Women Scholarship provides postgraduate training for graduates of economics and business interests and career goals in banking, finance and insurance, and government.

UK PhD African Women Scholarship


The African Women Scholarship are tenable up to 3 years for PhD (via route MPhil) [subject to satisfactory progress] and open to international applicants only. UK / EU applicants are not eligible to register. Scholarships will provide £ 15,000 towards the cost of international tuition for 3 years.

African Women Scholarship In this project, students will explore current practices among pharmacists - either in community settings and hospitals - in relation to the health of young children. They will use the British DH 'You're Welcome' framework (2007) to map the development of practice needs six participating community and hospital pharmacy sites. key issues would include resources - especially staff, and training places. We African Women Scholarship hope that all six pharmacies eventually be accredited under the provisions of this framework, and that students will explain the process and challenges of working towards this accreditation. Cross-national work would be welcome.

This African Women Scholarship latest offering from the Konrad Adenauer Asian Center for Journalism at Ateneo de Manila University (ACFJ). has been developed to bring Asian journalists in line with the latest platform for news and commentary, said Dr. Violet B. Valdez, executive director ACFJ. With six theory and practice-oriented courses and capstone projects, multimedia diploma program will provide journalists with a broad perspective and skills to implement multimedia projects, he explained.
